Forshaw Associates Limited was formed by Carl Bradshaw in December 2004, following several requests from his existing commercial insurance broking client bank for assistance in arranging commercial banking, commercial finance, invoice factoring and invoice discounting for his clients across the country, particularly in Lanchashire, Blackburn, Burnley and Manchester.

He found that these clients where unsatisfied particularly with the service levels provided by the traditional banks and high street lenders who regarded them  as numbers on a spreadsheet. Since then the business has developed into other areas, and Carl now runs several businesses with different partners.
